The Aberdare National Park is a protected, forested area in the Aberdare mountain range in Kenya, just North of Nairobi. The park is home to a great density of wildlife, including Elephants, Buffalo, Waterbuck, Hyena, and many more. I stayed overnight in The Ark Lodge, a viewing point set up in front of a waterhole in order to capture some images of the native animals. This was one of my favourite wildlife experiences I’ve had in my life, as I saw some amazing animals and got closer to them than I ever imagined I could do. This collection attempts to showcase the behaviour and forested environment of the Aberdare wildlife.
