There are five species of Owl native to Britain: the Barn Owl, Tawny Owl, Little Owl, Short-Eared Owl and Long-Eared Owl. Each owl species is notoriously elusive and photographing each one of them has various challenges. You have to know exactly where to go, what time of day to see them, and where to look in order to find them. However, even with all this information, spotting them with their incredible camouflage is still no easy task. It took me over four years to successfully photograph each of the owls, so I compiled a collection of some of my favourites throughout this time.
