The Maasai Mara is a wildlife photographers paradise, and I had the privilege of visiting in the great migration season of 2023. Millions of wildebeest head from the Serengeti into the Maasai Mara on the hunt for greener pastures for grazing, and is considered one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on Earth. This draws in a multitude of predators, all relying on the herds for their survival. This is not the only draw of the Maasai Mara, as hundreds of other species call this iconic savannah environment home. If you think of the African Savannah, you’re thinking of the Maasai Mara. This collection is a visual journey of the time I spent in the Maasai Mara, and all the incredible wildlife sightings I had within it.
